Extracurricular Activities
The students at Temple Judea Preschool love participating in the many special activities we offer throughout the year. These include Soccer Shots, Dancing Little Stars, Community Outreach projects, and visits from a variety of special guests. Each activity brings new opportunities for learning, movement, and fun!
Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for ages 2 to 9. Join the best coaches in the business on Soccer Island for age-appropriate soccer skills, character-building, and FUN!
Friday Shabbat
Fridays are a special time at our preschool as we come together to celebrate Shabbat. The children look forward to this weekly tradition, where we sing beautiful Shabbat songs, enjoy delicious challah, and sip sweet grape juice. These joyful moments help the children experience the warmth and beauty of Shabbat in a way that’s meaningful and fun.
Dancing Little Stars
The Mobile Dance Company. We offer children 18 months to 10 years of age beginning Ballet and Tap with age-appropriate Hip Hop instruction. We focus on poise, concentration, memory, and balance… while having fun! Classes are held at preschools, private schools, and recreation centers.
School Garden
At our preschool, we’re lucky to have a beautiful garden that our children help care for. They love planting seeds, watching them grow, picking colorful vegetables and flowers—and best of all, tasting the fresh veggies they’ve grown themselves! Through hands-on experiences, our young gardeners learn what plants need to grow and gain a deeper appreciation for nature and healthy eating.
Community Visitors
We love welcoming special guests to our preschool! Throughout the year, we’re visited by fun and educational community helpers and mascots, including the Mighty Mussels, Swampee, local firefighters, and park rangers. These visits spark curiosity, bring learning to life, and create unforgettable memories for our children.
